I just had to poke my nose in the guest book again. Linda told Sandi she read the stuff I wrote and thought it was great. Thank you Linda. We're continuing to bring Elena in as often as possible, as well as Jeremy. It's just so darn difficult to be a taxi driver for everyone, as all you parents know. I went to the Pittsburgh convention for the 1st time. The way that you did your jazz, lyrical, and tap was a really fun way of learning things for me. I have been going to the Al Gilbert seminars in Pittsburgh for a few years now and I just wanted to let you know what an inspiration you are. I go to a small dance studio called Laverdierre's and I never really got to experience different styles of dance over the years and my danceing has been held back because my teacher divides classes by age rather that talent and taking your classes opened new doors for me and gave me a challenge and something to strive for. I have been attending our daughter Jillian's dance recitals for the past seven years since she started dancing at a small dance studio in Laguna Niguel. Your Concert Of Love-2002 was by far the best production that I have seen. It was extremely professional, but more importantly, all of the dancers seemed so happy and positive about their accomplishments.

i can't believe it's been almost ten years since i've talked to you guys. i was so excited when my mom told me you had a website, i had to say hello. i am so utterly impressed with all of your achomplishments. i imagine the two of you are the "untouchables" of the world of dance, adleast you were to me ten years ago. i think of you guys often and am so happy to see that you guys are still doing what you both do so well, and together. i can't even begin to tell you how much i miss dancing. after having the priveledge of learning from the best (yes, i'm talking about you), i've found it difficult to replace the best dance teacher's i have ever had. after we moved to florida, i tried to continue dancing, but there aren't very many schools in this area. or adleast none that even come close to comparing to "retter's". i took some classes at the local dance studio, but there classes weren't as fun and challenging as i hoped they would be. but due to my many years of dance experience, i was offered a teac
i got engaged on christmas day, and just couldn't be happier. he plays drums in a band (imagine that). in fact the other day he was in the studio, playing this beat over and over again, and i came running in screaming, "that's a traveling time step you're playing". of course he had no idea what i was talking about, so i had to break out my tap shoes and prove it. you know, shuffle, step, shuffle, balchange, balchange, brush, hop, step, shuffle, step. my mom keeps telling me we need to come up with our own act, tap dancer and drummer battle it out.
anyway, i wanted to thank both of you for being such a positive influence in my life.
so far i've spent most of my life in a dance studio, and i can honestly say none of them even compared to retter's. i'm quite sure i would just cry if i saw the latest tecniques the two of you have come up with. i miss the endless rehersals with linda giving us her inspiring words of encouragement which made you work harder than you even thought you were capable of. and dayrll, giving a whole new meaning to the word tap. the two of you have touched my life more than you know and i just want to say "thank you", from the bottom of my heart. i would love to hear from you. keep up the great work.

This years competition at the Burbank Hilton was great. Congratulations to all the dancers who took part! We're the proud parents of a Gold trophy winner Elena Finch.
I want to say, 'Masol Tov' to the parents of the new member of the Retter's family, because she's a SUPERSTAR! She has the cutest little 'fatcheeks', I just loved kissing her. On a sad note, we would like to share our love for the Goodman family who recently lost a loved one, on a bright note, consider our family your extended family.
